Innovative Technology from WHD: Invisible Sound System and Solutions for Switch Programs

The Guest is King: Individual Sound in the Hotel Room

An invisible sound system consists of a Bluetooth receiver and two body sound transducers (exciters), which are concealed in furniture and objects and make the respective material resonate. The hotel guest streams music or radio via their preferred app from their smartphone or tablet directly and easily to the respective Bluetooth receivers of the sound systems. When equipped with an invisible sound system from WHD, they can, for example, make the bathtub, bathroom mirror, furniture or picture frames resonate with their favorite sound. Via the line-in on the Bluetooth receiver BTR 405 LV, the TV sound from the bedroom can also be reproduced in very good quality in the bathroom, a comfort element that guests enjoy using.

As part of a switch program solution, they stream directly to the room speakers via a receiver in the switch box. This solution includes a Bluetooth receiver, docking station, control, speakers and a digital radio, all intuitively operable via the switch box.

The equipment of the individual hotel rooms includes a dedicated audio system in both cases, and the associated possibilities enhance the feel-good factor and quality of the respective stay.

Added value for the host: Brand communication, clear design and easy handling

The facility management of the respective hotel can use WHD's configuration app to make general pre-settings (sound presets) for the individual rooms for the respective sound system, for example with regard to maximum volume and sound optimization. It is also possible to input the hotel name (naming), room number and an access PIN for brand interaction with the guest. The design concept of the hotel room is not disturbed by visibly hanging or standing loudspeakers; both systems can be installed, maintained and retrofitted quickly and easily. In addition, they are protected against theft and vandalism.
