Qube XL Active 2-Way Speaker: Optimal Sound at Any Volume

High-quality music enjoyment for all occasions: weighing just under three kilograms and with an edge length of 17cm, the compact Qube XL always delivers optimal sound – for focused work, relaxing hours, or an exuberant party. It achieves a lower frequency limit of 40Hz, and thanks to the built-in amplifier with 2x30W, it effortlessly produces rich volumes. Thanks to the Qube-specific wide dispersion characteristics and the optimized sound control via the new WHD Adaptive Sound Plus algorithm, the Qube XL achieves an extremely balanced sound quality at both loud and quiet volumes. WHD Adaptive Sound Plus uses a digital signal processor (DSP) that optimally adapts the speaker's sound characteristics to the functionality of the human ear at all volumes, thus ensuring a premium listening experience. The selectable sound settings complete this listening experience by optimizing the deep, warm sound of the Qube XL for different room situations and locations.

"We considered what a compact and uncompromising streaming speaker would need to be to consistently delight music lovers. The result of our work is the Qube XL, a high-end speaker with numerous advantages. Thanks to regional suppliers and sustainable manufacturing, a unique, absolutely high-quality product is created from various materials."

- Stefan Huber, Managing Director WHD

Open System for Bluetooth and WLAN

The Qube XL is equipped with both Bluetooth and WLAN chips as standard. It is compatible with all standard formats such as Airplay, UPnP, and DLNA, making it suitable for all common streaming services. Thanks to its automatic Line-In, music can also be played from other sources, such as a TV, PC, or laptop, and automatically and conveniently switches to the 'Qube XL' source connected to the Line-In when a signal is received. Voice control via Alexa dot is also possible. If the intensive listening experience of one speaker is not enough: a second Qube XL can be easily connected for a true stereo environment. The control of two or more Qubes is optimally done via the WHD Multiplayer App, to fill individual rooms with pleasant sound either in parallel or individually. If you don't want to control the speaker via smartphone or tablet, the Qube XL can alternatively be operated via the four capacitive buttons in the upper area. The Qube XL also plays without any further user intervention: immediately after switching on, it can start the internet radio station of choice - thanks to WHD MemoRadio technology.

Sustainable and regional: A high-quality unique design 'Made in Germany'

In the production of the timelessly designed Qube XL, WHD relies on high-quality components and sustainable processing, including selected long-throw drivers and tweeters, as well as various housing types. Customers can choose between oak, walnut, and Swiss pine for the solid wood enclosures, while the aluminum versions are available in black and white as standard. Custom paint finishes in any RAL color are also easily possible thanks to WHD's extensive manufacturing depth. The carefully selected components of the Qube XL come from regional production by traditional craft businesses and are characterized by the best quality and sustainability. For example, the wood used is stored for two years, then gently dried for four to six weeks, and the grain is precisely selected. At the end of the processing, the solid wood housing is not varnished, but treated with natural oils. It is thus an aroma-free, durable, and high-quality natural product that is protected against cracks, warping, and yellowing processes. With the compact all-rounder Qube XL, WHD expands its range with another high-quality and sustainable high-end product 'Made in Germany'.
