The cruise industry boom shows no signs of abating, and more and more passengers are opting for relaxation, recreation, and entertainment on the high seas. WHD has been equipped for this for years with its audio solutions and sees great development potential on board cruise ships. For guests to enjoy high-quality sound even on deck, issues such as seawater resistance must be considered in addition to very high sound quality. Seawater-resistant, proven, and optimized: WHD's AL 10. Therefore, the AL 10 loudspeaker from WHD, a compact seawater-resistant and weatherproof sound column, is now also being planned for other cruise ships at MEYER WERFT.

These have already been used in large numbers on numerous other cruise ships, in amusement parks and various outdoor catering areas, and have now been further developed and perfected for MEYER WERFT with the help of this experience.

The AL 10 is equipped with two seawater-resistant loudspeaker chassis, has a grille and mounting bracket made of V4A stainless steel, a cable gland specifically optimized for ship cables, and water-protected seals. Thanks to these features in combination with the proven high-quality sound, WHD was able to prevail with the AL 10 in the benchmark.
