Schwarzwald-Baar Klinikum

The Schwarzwald-Baar Klinikum in southwestern Baden-Württemberg is a modern and high-performance central hospital with 1,000 beds. Equally modern and powerful are the loudspeakers and audio solutions that WHD supplied in 2013 for the new building at the Villingen-Schwenningen site. In the colorfully and richly designed atrium, 24 white, compact sound columns AL 10 now ensure that announcements for staff and waiting visitors and patients are pleasant, clear, and easy to understand. The AL 10 were suitably integrated into the main beam trusses. The hair salon integrated into the reception area was also equipped with modern WHD technology: the preferred music or favorite radio station is streamed via the BTR 205, a Bluetooth receiver with FM radio, and transmitted as a relaxing background sound via the four design built-in speakers M/R 240. Finally, seven 2-way HiFi ceiling speakers UP 14 and the Class D amplifier AMP 120 were integrated into the Medical Care Center (MVZ) associated with the hospital.
