The Sachsenring near Chemnitz is a legendary racetrack and professional road safety center. During car and motorcycle races, over 150 weather-resistant WHD loudspeakers provide sound for both spectators in the stands and race teams in the pit lanes. Installed on masts, they have to perform at a very high level amidst the enormous noise. The 2-way horn music loudspeakers TL 230 achieve this with high efficiency and excellent low and mid-range reproduction. The built-in chassis radiates indirectly onto a reflector, while the tweeter horn radiates directly, ensuring brilliant high-frequency reproduction and long-lasting weather resistance.
The Sachsenring driving safety center offers, among other things, a 3.7-kilometer Grand Prix track and 18 different training courses. The extensive event offering on the 50-hectare site is flanked by various event locations and an indoor kart track. For over 90 years, the "Ring" has been delighting motorsport fans and friends worldwide.
