In Wattenheim, Palatinate, ODM GmbH, a manufacturer of high-tech audio systems, installed a powerful sound reinforcement solution from WHD, divided into three zones: "Production", "Reception", and "Logistics". Ten brilliantly white lacquered
ball loudspeakers KL 1603 were attached to the exposed ceiling beams of the hall with a strain relief attached to the cable. The multifunctional Internet radio streamer IR 19 with Bluetooth technology was chosen as the central audio source: it can play Internet radio, FM radio and DAB+ radio, alternatively playback can be done via a USB port for hard drives and an AUX IN for other devices such as an MP3 player, and the IR 19 can also access the existing music database from the home network. The three sound zones are controlled via a central control unit: zone selection, volume and muting are done via the
touch panel TP 4200 installed on the wall. Thanks to the practical combination of programmable quick selection buttons, the sound system can be operated intuitively, safely and reliably by all employees.
