Enjoyment meets technology - in the heart of the Alps
At 2610 m above sea level, where snow, wind and altitude are daily challenges, state-of-the-art audio technology ensures unique sound comfort. The restaurant Goldene Traube at the mountain station of the cable car in the Sulden ski and hiking area is not only a culinary highlight for winter sports enthusiasts and hikers - it also sets standards in terms of technology.
A strong sound partner since 2003
As early as 2003, our long-standing partner - then still Lang Roland & Co. OHG - was able to implement the first professional multi-zone sound system in the restaurant.
The requirement: every area - whether restaurant, bar, terrace or waiting area - should be optimally and individually sound-equipped. UP10-T6 and partly WL6-T6 were used in the restaurant area, UP14-T6 in the gondola waiting area, and MiniWP-T30 on the terrace and in the outdoor area.
2024: More comfort, more sound, more design
As part of an extensive renovation of the restaurant in 2024, guest comfort was significantly increased.
The newly built toilet facility was equipped with twelve UP10-T6 loudspeakers, which provide unobtrusive background sound - easily accessible, even for guests with ski boots.
The terrace was also redesigned: Since only an approximately 18 cm high, vertical surface on the weatherproof roof was available, the choice fell on three compact QB300 WL -T12 WP loudspeakers, which convinced with their weatherproof design and clear sound reproduction.
Finally, a defective 4-channel amplifier in the technical center was replaced by the efficient AMP4200 - a powerful model that could be easily integrated thanks to its compact design.
What makes the Goldene Traube project so special?
