For a stylish new private home construction in beautiful Austrian Tyrol, WHD supplied an elegant and fully integrated audio solution for both indoor and outdoor areas. Indoors, a total of five innovative Wavebreaker flat-panel speakers were discreetly and invisibly integrated into suspended ceilings to aesthetically preserve the design of the respective rooms - spa area, wine cellar, and bathrooms. Thanks to the very special design of the Wavebreaker in conjunction with innovative exciter technology, this concealed WHD audio solution always sounds equally high-quality, regardless of the installation situation, and the sound image is in no way impaired by the installation in suspended ceilings in this project. For the outdoor area, the weather-resistant Mini 4 WP were chosen, which were mounted with appropriate bracket holders. Equipped with a 100mm woofer/mid-range driver and a 10mm high-frequency dome, these compact HiFi speakers now provide the right ambiance, including at the in-house hot tub. The entire sound system was divided into five zones and brought together in the in-house technical room via five corresponding Bluetooth/(W)LAN receivers WR 250 DSP. This allows the sound system of the entire house to be controlled by one or more people, either centrally or individually and separately. Control is intuitive via the WHD Multiroom app or via all common music apps.
“We are extremely satisfied with the entire audio solution and its seamless integration into our
new construction project. The ability to control the devices both centrally and individually clearly sets this sound system apart from other solutions. Absolutely recommendable - also for other projects!”
