SDL400-S, Silver - Loudspeaker for Stretch Ceilings

Stretch ceilings, luminous ceilings, and mirror walls are a very special solution for interior design. With WHD's Stretch Ceiling Loudspeaker series (SDL), their full potential is unleashed: high-quality sound, perfectly fitted and
discreetly installed. The overall design remains undisturbed – and the room sounds great!

The SDL 400-S is a powerful 2-way 8-ohm loudspeaker, specifically designed for invisible installation behind stretch ceilings. Thanks to its innovative crossover, it delivers natural and clear sound despite being covered by the ceiling film. Equipped with a 4-inch woofer and a tweeter, along with integrated bass reflex technology, it impresses even in the bass range, despite an extremely flat installation depth of only 58 mm. Up to three SDL 400-S loudspeakers can be easily connected to an SDL 400-M to create an even more comprehensive sound experience.

Easy Installation

The loudspeaker can be easily and securely fastened with plugs and screws. For optimal sound distribution, correct placement is crucial and can be coordinated with the WHD project planning team. This ensures that the loudspeaker is not only perfectly mounted but also ideally positioned to achieve the best sound experience. The distance between the stretch ceiling and the loudspeaker should be at least 2 mm. The stretch ceiling must not rest directly on the loudspeaker.

Future-Proof Complete Solution

The SDL 400-S loudspeaker is designed as an addition to the master loudspeaker, which is available in various versions (Bluetooth, WLAN, FM radio). This allows you to assemble the sound system according to your individual requirements.
