The compact active subwoofer serves as an addition to existing loudspeaker systems. The lower frequency range here is an impressive 28 Hertz. The bass speaker offers remarkable depth with minimal distortion. For its size, the subwoofer sounds very deep and dry, supporting the low frequencies. No booming, but an incredibly precise pressure and a very rich sound characterize the impulse-compensating chassis. The resonant body is perfectly designed for both chassis, delivering impressively powerful, crisp, and precise low frequencies. Even at high volumes, very deep tones are maintained. The electronics used in the subwoofer affect the deep bass capability in such a way that an extremely expressive sound experience is created.
Too much bass, too little? More intensity, less pressure? The volume of the subwoofer is controlled on the back of the A 500. The frequency controller allows stepless adjustment between 40 and 200 Hertz – this setting makes it possible to filter out higher tones. In addition, the phase position of the signal is continuously adjustable between 0-180°. This manual control serves for time-of-flight shifting due to spatial differences, ensuring that the low tones arrive at the ideal time at the adjusted listening position.
Thanks to the integrated 100W amplifier, the premium subwoofer is also ideal for higher volumes and has low power consumption, which must be supplied directly. Power consumption in standby is below 0.5 W, so you get not only a powerful but also an energy-saving subwoofer.
The automatic signal detection, which you can activate via Auto-On, allows for maximum energy saving – the subwoofer is only active as long as it receives a signal and switches to standby mode without a signal.
The A500 subwoofer is comfortable for everyone to install and operate.
A hi-fi system, CD player, Blu-ray player, computer, Bluetooth receiver, Wi-Fi receiver, or TV can be connected to the Line-IN via cable.
Through the stereo Line-Out with RCA jacks, an external amplifier, to which you have connected the speakers, can be used.
The integrated High-Level In also allows connection of an external amplifier without a subwoofer output.
Just connect the included power cable to the socket, and the system will bring sound into your room.
If a 2.1, 5.1, or 7.1 home theater system with an AV receiver is planned, you can easily connect the AV receiver to the LFE input of the subwoofer and thus experience your personal home theater with our design subwoofer and the speakers you selected, which you connect directly to the AV receiver.
