The A 500 passive is a compact and very powerful-sounding passive subwoofer with remarkable depth for the highest demands in a subtle design. The impulse-compensating dual driver setup ensures extremely low vibration, among other things. Two speakers and an external amplifier can be connected directly to the passive bass speaker. The nominal/music power handling is 2x70 W/ 2x100W. This is perfect as an addition for movie, music, and gaming enthusiasts who want an impressive and expressive soundscape with high-quality bass support.

The lower frequency limit of the compact passive bass speaker is an amazing 28 Hertz and offers remarkable depth with minimal distortion. For its size, the subwoofer sounds very deep and dry and supports the lows. No booming, but an incredibly precise pressure and a very full sound characterize the impulse-compensating drivers. The resonant body is perfectly designed for the two drivers, so that impressive, very powerful, crisp, and precise bass tones are delivered. Even at high volumes, very deep tones are obtained. The crossover of the A 500 passive, tuned for maximum sound comfort, enables expansion to a premium sound system for the highest demands through the simple connection of QB 300 (WL) and S 350.
The automatic signal detection allows for maximum energy saving – the subwoofer is only active as long as it receives a signal and switches to standby mode without a signal.
You can reduce the volume of the satellite speakers using the "Output Gain" control knob, allowing the subwoofer to stand out even more.
The A500 passive is easy to install and operate. It is powered by an AV receiver or an external amplifier.
In addition, two passive speakers can be connected directly to the subwoofer using conventional speaker cables via the output ports.
If a 2.1, 5.1, or 7.1 home cinema system with an AV receiver is planned, you can easily connect the AV receiver to the input of the subwoofer and thus experience your personal home cinema with our design subwoofer and the speakers of your choice, which you connect directly to the AV receiver.
