Resono Soundpad

Healing sound for body and soul

Hearing sound, feeling sound: The SoundPad from the musical instrument manufacturer resono is a thin, therapeutic soundboard made of wood. Music is transmitted to the SoundPad via Bluetooth®️ technology, which the user can then experience through the vibrations generated on the board on multiple sensory levels. WHD supported the developer and music therapist Konrad Gießibl in improving the sound quality and fully exploiting its potential.
 
The first step involved a technical update with an extremely compact invisible sound system from WHD in the form of the BTR 405 LV Bluetooth receiver plus two X32 exciters. This included a practical line-in jack and automatic shut-off – to extend the battery life of the battery, also integrated by WHD. In the second step, WHD developed a customised sound setting for the SoundPad: Using computer-aided sound measurements, the thin soundboard was programmed in such a way that the SoundPad now impresses with voluminous and rich sound, making the use of the soundboard an intense experience.
The founder of musical instrument manufacturer resono in Schramberg in the Black Forest is Konrad Gießibl, a qualified music therapist (FH) and naturopath (psychotherapy) according to the HPG. Enthusiastic and convinced of the healing power of music, he developed various therapeutic instruments over the years, including the SoundPad. The extensive experience and insights from his many years of practical work as a music therapist and course leader are always incorporated into these developments.
