The A 500 passive is a compact and very powerful-sounding passive subwoofer with remarkable depth for the highest demands in an understated design. The impulse-compensating dual driver configuration ensures extremely low vibration, among other things. Two speakers and an external amplifier can be connected directly to the passive subwoofer. The rated/music power handling is 2x70 W / 2x100W. This is perfect as an addition for movie, music, and gaming enthusiasts who want an impressive and expressive sound image with high-quality low-frequency support.

The lower frequency range of the compact passive subwoofer is an amazing 28 Hertz and offers remarkable depth with minimal distortion. For its size, the subwoofer sounds very deep and dry and supports the low frequencies. No booming, but incredibly precise pressure and a very full sound characterize the impulse-compensating drivers. The resonance body is perfectly designed for the two drivers, so that impressively powerful, crisp, and precise bass tones are delivered. Very deep tones are also achieved at high volumes. The crossover of the A 500 passive, tuned for maximum sound comfort, enables expansion to a premium sound system for the highest demands through the simple connection of QB 300 (WL) and S 350.
Automatic signal detection allows for maximum energy saving - the subwoofer is only active as long as it receives a signal and switches to standby mode without a signal.
Using the "Output Gain" rotary control, you can turn down the volume of the satellite speakers, allowing the subwoofer to be heard even better.
The A500 passive is comfortable to install and operate. It is powered by an AV receiver or an external amplifier.
In addition, two passive speakers can be connected directly to the subwoofer with conventional speaker cables via the output connections.
If a 2.1, 5.1, or 7.1 home cinema system with an AV receiver is planned, you can easily connect the AV receiver to the subwoofer's input and thus experience your personal home cinema with our design subwoofer and the speakers you have selected, which you connect directly to the AV receiver.
