The RDS Radio Basic is very easy to operate via an optional remote control and four buttons directly on the device. It can be connected to the BTR/WR 55 Bluetooth or WLAN receiver via the rear Line-In.
This allows an additional external source to be played in addition to the 9 radio stations. The flush-mounted RDS Radio Basic already achieves good reception with the enclosed wire antenna. For optimum reception quality, the house antenna (75 Ohm, Coax) can be connected to the antenna connection. The flush-mounted radio also features a sleep and alarm function. The display brightness can be dimmed. This is particularly useful in bedrooms. The volume limit, like the menu lock, is very important in hotel operation. The RDS radio is therefore suitable for both private and hotel applications. The integrated amplifier offers the option of connecting two loudspeakers to play background music. For full-range music playback quality at high volume, an external amplifier, e.g. the AMP 250 DSP, can be connected.
