The Exciter Type X 32-16 Ohm is a surface transducer that transforms almost any hard surface such as wood, glass, or metal into a loudspeaker. Using the self-adhesive film already applied upon delivery, our "invisible loudspeaker" can be horizontally affixed to many different surfaces, which then serve as a resonance body. Vertical placement can also be achieved by screwing it on. With our positioning aid, you can playfully determine the ideal position for attaching the exciters, ensuring amazing sound quality despite different surfaces such as wood, glass, or aluminum.
In public areas, the listed installation options can provide protection against vandalism. In areas where climatic conditions play a role, our surface transducer can be so well placed and concealed that heat, cold, moisture, dust, and other influences need not pose difficulties. Even in rooms with the highest hygienic requirements where conventional loudspeakers are out of the question, our resonators/exciters still offer a musical experience for relaxation, motivation, and concentration.
Considering its dimensions, this resonator can be easily installed in small and narrow spaces.
The X 32 surface transducer impresses with its excellent bass reproduction. The values for sound pressure level, frequency range, and beam angle depend on the material used. Depending on placement and material, you get impressive sound reproduction sufficient for background music.
The exciters, like normal loudspeakers, are connected to the sound system via cable. They can be connected to low-impedance amplifiers, as well as to conventional sound sources with loudspeaker connections. For amplifiers with a loudspeaker impedance of 4 ohms, up to four X 32-16 Ohm can be connected in parallel per channel. The nominal/music power handling is 6/15 watts.
