The Exciter Type X 25-4 Ohm is a tactile transducer that transforms almost any hard surface such as wood, glass, or metal into a loudspeaker. When ideally placed, you get invisible sound with amazing sound quality. Connected to the surface – you can now listen to music without conventional loudspeakers via suspended ceilings, walls, and existing furniture. There are no limits to your imagination here.

Then our tactile transducer from our "Invisible Sound System" category is perfect for you: simply attach the Exciter to the desired surface such as ceilings, walls, furniture, cabinets, cabinet doors, and counters. Using the self-adhesive foil already applied upon delivery, our "invisible loudspeaker" can be horizontally attached to many different surfaces, which then serve as a resonance body. Vertical placement can also be achieved by screwing it on. With our positioning aid, you can playfully determine the ideal position for attaching the Exciters, so that you achieve amazing sound quality despite different surfaces such as wood, glass, or aluminum.
In public areas, the listed installation options can offer protection against vandalism. In areas where climatic conditions play a role, our tactile transducer can be optimally placed and hidden, so that heat, cold, humidity, dust, and other influences do not have to pose difficulties. Even in rooms with the highest hygienic requirements where conventional loudspeakers are out of the question, our resonators/exciters still offer a music experience for relaxation, motivation, and concentration.
Considering its dimensions, this Exciter can be easily installed in small and narrow installation locations.
The X 25 tactile transducer impresses with its shallow installation depth. The values for sound pressure level, frequency range, and beam angle depend on the material used. Depending on placement and material, you get impressive sound reproduction that is sufficient for background music.
Like normal loudspeakers, Exciters are connected to the sound system via cable. They can be connected to low-impedance amplifiers, as well as to conventional sound sources with loudspeaker connections. For amplifiers with a loudspeaker impedance of 4 ohms, one X 25-4 Ohm can be connected per channel. The nominal/music power handling is 5/8 watts.
We recommend a combination with our Bluetooth/WLAN receivers BTR 405, BTR 405 LV, WR205, and WR250 DSP.
