WaveBreaker Grid - Panel loudspeaker for suspended grid ceilings 625x625

The WaveBreaker Grid is an innovative, invisible flat-panel speaker measuring 625 x 625 mm, designed to integrate seamlessly into suspended ceilings. Its innovative design, materials, and precise dimensions are particularly noteworthy. The speaker can be simply inserted into a suspended ceiling, creating an almost invisible sound. Thanks to its multi-layered construction, consisting of high-quality materials, and optimally tuned sound bodies, it offers a first-class sound experience. An integrated protection circuit prevents damage to the WaveBreaker. The flat-panel speaker can be easily connected to conventional audio sources.

Perfection in Detail

The optimal positioning of the exciters, the dimensioning of the crossover, and the design of the vibrating surface have been carefully calculated, tested, and optimized. The result: a plasterboard panel that sounds like a high-quality speaker. Particularly noteworthy is the controlled vibration of a defined surface, which ensures that the WaveBreaker delivers consistently first-class sound in any installation situation. The decoupled, acrylic-encased, and freely suspended surface also prevents the transmission of structure-borne sound into adjacent rooms. 

Ideal for Perfect Sound

The WaveBreaker covers the entire frequency spectrum – from deep bass to clear highs – almost linearly. An additional subwoofer is therefore not necessary.

Recommendation

We recommend the WaveBreaker as a system in combination with our Bluetooth/WLAN receiver WR 250 DSP. It offers a perfect interplay and enables wireless music streaming via smartphone apps without the need for additional components. Furthermore, the WaveBreaker Grid is not only available in a low-impedance version, but can also be equipped with a 100V transformer upon request. This offers maximum flexibility in connection options and leaves nothing to be desired.
