This set - consisting of the WR 250 DSP Wi-Fi receiver and 2x QB 300 WL wall speakers - transforms any room into an impressive experience zone. With the Bluetooth/(W)LAN receiver WR250 DSP, you can listen to music from many apps from end devices such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, and computers in excellent Hi-Fi sound quality on the high-quality and powerful QB300 WL design speakers. The WR 250 DSP contains a 2x50W stereo amplifier with an integrated DSP (Digital Signal Processor) and can be easily hidden, e.g., behind a plasterboard ceiling, due to its small size. The QB 300 WL speakers from WHD stand for the highest sound enjoyment in the best quality: Very high-quality, compact, and modern high-end speakers in an aluminum design that guarantee the best possible sound.
The WR 250 DSP receives music, e.g., from a smartphone or tablet, via the WHD Multiroom Player App (Link to video) or via any music apps using AirPlay*, DLNA or UPnP and plays it through the connected speakers. The music streaming receiver can be operated via the Ethernet socket, Wi-Fi, and also via Bluetooth. Connect the two included QB 300 WL surface-mounted speakers to the WR 250 DSP via speaker cable and hide the audio receiver in cavities such as ceilings, walls, furniture, behind mirrors, cabinets, and counters. As soon as the connected 24V 5A power supply receives power, music streaming can begin. An external sound source such as a CD player can also be connected to the Line-In.

A proprietary algorithm has been developed for the DSP chip, which dynamically adapts the sound in the loudspeaker. This technology, WHD Adaptive Sound Plus, ensures, among other things, that the listener experiences high-quality sound even at low volumes. 3 presets can be selected: Neutral, Loudness, Extra Bass.

An optionally available KNX gateway can control the WR250 and other WHD (W)LAN devices – such as the WR 55, WR 205, the Qube (XL), and the AirBridge Pro. For example, a KNX can be used to select an internet radio station that is played directly by the WLAN module. No smartphone or tablet is required for this. Furthermore, the volume can be controlled and the module can be switched off via KNX.
As an extension, you can set up a multiroom system by using other WHD (W)LAN devices in the vicinity. All devices such as the WR 250 DSP can be controlled via our free Multiroom Player APP.
