The DEL 240 loudspeaker in 100V (25 Watt) is the next masterpiece from WHD for the highest sound enjoyment in the best quality: a rimless 2-way high-end built-in loudspeaker for installation in the ceiling or on the wall, through which you can listen to music in a very powerful and excellent hi-fi sound quality. Thanks to its timeless and inconspicuous design, the loudspeaker is also the perfect complement to any interior and ideal for music reproduction in high-end commercial buildings.
The completely perforated cover of the 100V DEL 240 loudspeaker protrudes only 5 millimeters from the ceiling, making it very subtle, homogeneous, and inconspicuous. It can be painted in different RAL/NCS colors upon request. The acoustically optimized, extra sound-permeable and opaque fleece behind the grille ensures a homogeneous surface. Thanks to its rimless design, the 2-way loudspeaker fits into any room concept.
The equipment with a 6" long-throw chassis and a large tweeter dome with heatsink ensure a very linear, high-resolution, and homogeneous, wide-angle sound. The result is pure sound enjoyment, and when you walk through a room with several DEL 240s, it sounds almost the same everywhere, as the sound does not change suddenly but slowly and gently over the dispersion angle. With a sufficient number of loudspeakers used, these changes will be barely noticeable. The precisely dimensioned and custom-shaped crossover also contributes to the high-end sound experience. High-quality connection terminals complete the package. The rich power of 50W produces higher volumes without distortion when required, which is why the DEL 240 loudspeakers are also very suitable for use in villas, bars, etc.
In addition, the flush-mount loudspeaker has been developed for installation in an enclosure to fully exploit the potential of the sound components. In conjunction with the installation enclosures from B-SYSTEM - for concrete, walls, and drywall - this creates a perfect symbiosis of sound, design, and professional installation. The additional installation enclosure decouples the passive loudspeaker from the ceiling or wall and dampens the rear-emitted sound. This results in less crosstalk from one room to another.
Installation is via four sturdy rotating claws, so that the DEL 240 sits really tight in its enclosure in the ceiling, which is crucial for very good bass reproduction.
The baffle is also equipped with a foam ring to guarantee tightness. A safety rope assists with installation, catching the ceiling-mounted loudspeaker securely in the event of faulty installation.
