The AMP 1200 is a future-oriented Class D amplifier for one loudspeaker zone (4/8 Ohm/70V/100V - selectable per output) with 240 W output power. DSP presets and equalizer functions can be freely configured via the clear web interface. The device also allows saving up to 20 presets. In addition, configuration can be done directly via the rotary controls on the device. Furthermore, the HiFi amplifier includes a power-saving function, which automatically puts the device into standby mode when no music is played. The AMP 1200 is suitable for 19" rack mounting or as a standalone device. In combination with the very easy-to-use Touchpanel TP4200, which can be purchased separately, users can intuitively operate the system.
The new AMP 1200 mixing amplifier from WHD is a powerful, network-compatible audio solution for one loudspeaker zone, providing 240 watts in one height unit. The power amplifier has an extremely linear frequency response and is suitable for both low-impedance and 100-volt loudspeakers. The 100 volts are generated electronically and thus loss-free. One stereo source and two microphones can be connected. The high-quality AMP 1200 amplifier is suitable wherever one sound source in one zone is sufficient: in hotels and restaurants, for relaxation music in wellness areas or lounge music in bars, as well as for retail stores.
The AMP 1200 digital amplifier can be integrated into the respective TCP/IP network and thus coupled and controlled with other IP-enabled devices. Operation is also adapted to the individual needs of the user: it can be done either directly on the device via rotary controls on the front panel or externally via the browser. Made settings can be saved. If necessary, access to the device is password-protected.
In combination with the very easy-to-use Touchpanel TP 4200 , the AMP 1200 becomes even more interesting for integrators and installers, as users can intuitively operate the system.
The black metal housing with dimensions 44 × 215 × 245 mm is a standalone device that can also be easily installed as one height unit in any 19'' rack thanks to the included angle adapters. The aspect of sustainability regarding power consumption is important to WHD: The AMP 1200 audio amplifier operates very power-efficiently and generates no additional heat that would need to be dissipated by air conditioning systems, for example, from the technical room. Via the integrated power-saving function, the AMP 1200 automatically switches to standby mode when no music is playing.
WHD offers a very special service with pre-set digital signal processor (DSP) settings - several per loudspeaker for different installation situations: customers, integrators, and installers define the respective zone, including loudspeakers, in advance using WHD's own online tool. Based on this data, WHD acoustics experts program the AMP 1200 digital amplifier according to the customer's specific requirements. When ordering the service "Programming of the AMP 1200", you will receive the necessary instructions from us via email within a short time. The delivery time of the device with the already pre-set presets is approx. 2 weeks.
