The multiplayer server is an Android-based device with the WHD multiplayer app pre-installed. This allows music from a USB stick, media server, internet radio, and the streaming service "Deezer" to be played in many rooms.
Connections:
Ideally, the multiplayer server should be permanently connected to the network via a LAN cable. This ensures a very stable network connection. Optionally, it can also be connected via Wi-Fi.
A monitor can be connected via the HDMI output. We recommend connecting the server with a mouse for operation on a Smart TV. This allows the end-user to create various playlists, which they then simply control remotely via KNX or with their smartphone using the Family function.
We recommend the multiplayer server for projects where maximum connection stability is crucial, such as in public areas like restaurants, boutiques, hair salons, etc.
