The AMP 10 DC HS power amplifier, suitable for DIN rails, provides 10 watts of power for wall or ceiling-mounted loudspeakers. Either one 4-ohm, two 8-ohm, or up to five 20-ohm loudspeakers can be connected in parallel. Power supply and control are provided by the AM 840 audio actuator. A power amplifier with a built-in potentiometer is also available (AMP 10...UP, see the Audio Electronics section for switch ranges). It is simply connected in parallel to the usual AMP10DC on one of the four AM 840 zone outputs, enabling operation of a 5th room. If the "Master" zone is activated, the music signal is also available in the subzone and can be individually controlled in volume or switched off via the built-in potentiometer. Additionally, loudspeakers with integrated amplifiers are available.
